Before you call

Questions we hear often

Straight answers to what buyers usually ask before a strategy call. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Why start with a Discovery Sprint?

When you are not sure what to build, or how, a large project is a gamble. A Discovery Sprint is a paid 4–6 week engagement where we study your problem, design the architecture, and build a small working prototype. You leave with a clear plan, whether you build with us or someone else.

Can you work with our internal team?

Yes. We work alongside client engineers, architects, and product people regularly. We can lead delivery, co-build with your team, or advise while your people implement, depending on what you actually need.

Who owns the source code?

For bespoke work built for you, you typically own the deliverables. We put IP and licensing terms in the proposal before anyone starts coding. No surprises at handover.

Why don't you quote a fixed price immediately?

Because we do not know the real problem yet. Fixed quotes before discovery usually mean someone is guessing, or planning to change-scope later. We would rather give you an honest estimate after we understand what needs to be built, often following a Discovery Sprint.

Why architecture before development?

Most failures we have seen were not coding failures. They were the wrong problem, or architecture that could not survive year two. We draw the system properly before production code so you do not rebuild everything later.

Can you work with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud?

We deliver Microsoft-first with architecture driven by your requirements. We primarily use the Microsoft ecosystem and also work with AWS or Google Cloud when that fits your existing environment and business objectives.

How do you protect confidential information?

We limit access to what is needed, use secure development environments, and agree upfront on what data we handle and how long we keep it. If you have specific compliance requirements (financial services, government, healthcare), tell us early and we will address them in the proposal. Read our security practices →

What if the Discovery Sprint shows we shouldn't build?

That is a valid outcome. If the answer is "don't build this" or "build something smaller," we will tell you. You still leave with clarity, which is cheaper than a failed large project.

Will senior people stay on the project after the proposal?

Yes. Senior people stay on the work, not just the sales conversation. We take responsibility for the outcome, not just the code.

Still have a question? Describe the business problem you are dealing with, not the tech stack you think you need.
